Look how dressed up these fucking ladies are!  Can you imagine putting on pearls and a hat and a high-necked blouse just so you can plop on the couch with a bunch of your pals and shoot the shit?  This is an advertising image (I think it was an ad for crackers), so of course it's an idealization, but ideal for whom?  The Stepford Wives?  Sheesh!
