It’s a time-honored Christian tradition for ladies to change their hairdos in observation of Christmas. The practice dates back to the early 13th Century when Norman Crusaders in the Holy Land made an astonishing discovery. They brought their precious find back to the little French town of Fleaubleauville and erected a beautiful monument to enshrine it. To this day, Christian pilgrims from all over the world journey to Fleaubleauville to pray at the Holy Shrine of the Barrette of the Virgin Mary. Found next to the Glowing Diaper of Nazareth, it proves beyond a doubt that, on Christmas day, the Blessed Virgin changed her hairdo.
