LET'S GO SOMEWHERE AND ACT LIKE ASSHOLES
#00411/Greeting Card (4.5" x 6.25") - Blank
I hate traveling. Unfortunately, my mommy, my my sister, my in-laws, my best friend and my aunts and all my zany cousins live someplace that isn't here. So I'll travel to go see these people (aren't they lucky?), but when it comes to traveling just for fun, I'm completely hopeless. I don't think travel and fun belong in the same sentence. Which reminds me: I read an article in the New Yorker about this guy with Asperger's Syndrome and I noticed that one of his symptoms is a passionate dislike of leaving home. That's me. I started getting all excited as I read the article, thinking, "Hey! I have Asperger's Syndrome! I don't relate well with others! I like being alone! I can't stand traveling!" Unfortunately, what I didn't get is the good part of Asperger's. Which is to say, I'm not freakishly good at doing anything in particular. So I can't ascribe my crappy personality to an interesting medical syndrome. I'm just an anti-social hermit.
